Hi all This is really regarding my recent message regarding setting up a drummer "click track". Well, it seems like I've had my i30 for 20 years, but I am still learning..... THANKS TO YOU!!! I have successfully used the "metronome" settings (didn't even realize that metronome output settings were so flexible) and channeled it through "D output" (hence audio out "4"). I lost very little in the effects and as the i30 will be in a "live" environment, reverb effects are sometimes better switched off or very low. Thanks again friends. Pete C Re: Metronome output Mon Jan 14 18:44:51 2002 Hi Mike Firstly I am working in SONG mode with sequences. I change the metronome out settings to "D" only. Next, I set all the tracks so that their "D" output is "0" - IMPORTANT: Make sure you press the RESET button just before doing this - (also note: there may be MIDI events in each track which reset the "D" output - these must be deleted). Having done that I change the "EFFECTS" placement to the one where C&D go direct to 3&4 (no effect in-line) - I think it's the one on the bottom left of the placement screen - sorry, don't have my i30 here as I write this. You will probably find that the overall sound may change a bit - you can then adjust the "EFFECTS" settings to clean it up. SAVE YOUR CHANGES!!!! The metronome click will play for the duration of the sequence from output "4", all other sounds will channel through outputs 1,2 and 3 as per your settings. It is important to have those "intro bars" in place and to remove any unwanted bars beyond the end of the sequence. All the best Pete
