Did you follow the instructions to the letter? One classic mistake 
is to insert the drive the wrong way. The connector WILL plug in 
either way (unfortunately!!!). Your HDD should have been upside 
down when you installed it - that is - the HDD should be the right 
way up when the i30 is the right way up.
